Ultra High-Throughput Screening Applications For 1536-Well Microplates

1536-Well Microplate Group | Black | White | Transparent

Well Plate Options

The 1536-well standard format microplate is manufactured out of a single piece of polymer, (PS) polystyrene, in transparent, or colored black or white. The 1536-well standard format microplates have a rounded well design which allows for the optimal uniform meniscus formation. There are two surface options available, non-treated and cell culture surfaces. The 1536-well format has an F-bottom shape.

Ultra High-Throughput Screening

The 1536-well microplate can be found in core laboratories or high-throughput labs, drug discovery labs, pharmaceutical research and development labs, and contract research organizations. The 1536-well standard format plates are designed specifically for automation and require the use of robotic equipment. High-throughput laboratories are normally found in large academic institutions, pharmaceutical, and CRO settings. High-throughput laboratories will generally perform research for smaller labs that are not equipped with automation and liquid handling robots.
